Sushi Party

Dang it, I only took this picture after the fact because I was too flipping stressed out about how everything was going to turn out. For those of you who may not know me as well, I LOVE to cook. A cooking challenge gets my adrenaline way up. So not only was this my first time to experiment with sushi and sashimi, I had guests along with it. My wonderful hair dresser and friend Tim (vietnamese), my sis, Anthony(philippino) and Jason. Yes I had some pretty critical people since they all know what it is supposed to look and taste like. Tim was my toughest critic and he gave me an A+ with the exception of me buying the wrong rice:) So yes we definitely had a blast and a yummy good time! Cheers to experimenting and an awesome crowd!

The last few months

This was Trevor's first time in the highchair. It was quite the experience. By the way I am finally updating my blog. Some of these pics are a few months old, but for those who are out of state, I want you to be able to see him grow!


Not really sure what to label this one, but it sure cracks me up.


We were getting ready for the pool, which is now part of our daily routine, and I thought he looked so grown up in this picture so this one definitely had to go up on the blog.

Books

So I am not usually a book person, but these two books came highly recommended and with good reason. Wow! It was hard for me to put them down. I wish I had found these books years ago. Even if people think they have the perfect relationship I still think they need to read this. The authors of these books are so accurate it is crazy. They take, from statistics and extensive research, information that reveals the true psychological thought patterns of a man and a women when it comes to relationships. It helps the opposite sex learn and understand each others needs, wants, desires, worries, insecurities and more. I can't even explain what a change these two small books have made in mine and Jasons' marraige. I thought things were already awesome and it just got even better!
