Work in Progress

A few before and after pics of the landscaping I have been busting my tail on. Nothing fancy, but a huge difference!

Utah Trip

So I am slightly a slacker when it came to taking pictures in Utah. It may have had something to do with chasing a 1 year old all over the place. I did't really have an extra hand for a camera. Thanks to Mindy I have a few shots of some fun we had. In a nutshell, we just spent as much time as we could with family and friends doing whatever.

I had fun hangin' out with Mary, Mindy, Brenda and Kristy. It stinks that they live so far away because we all would have a blast together if we lived close! Mary and Rusty were awesome for letting us take over their house and one of their cars for a week! The time was just not long enough. It was a good thing that we didn't run around and do too much because I really needed that week of R&R. Next trip we will have to fill with some higher energy type events;)

Jason had to work a lot, but he was glad that he got to at least see his family. He is not exactly a winter sports person so we will definitely be going up in the summer next time. It was nice though to be away from home with him where he was somewhat disconnected with the daily rush of our normal lives.

Trevor played in the snow every chance he could. He made friends with his cousin Zach instantly. He even spent the night at Aunt Mindy's house without us! Probably because they are just such a fun family. He also made friends with the boys in Mary's neighborhood who he ran around with for about 3 hours. And last, but not least, he got to see Kenzie. It has been a little over a year since they had seen each other and it was like they didn't even miss a beat.

Zach loved eating the snow. He went from mostly crawling to mostly walking while we were there. And he is completely off of the bottle and on a sippy cup now. Man all in 1 week!

We also got to meet up with Megan and Danny and their 2 boys. We were running way late so we didn't get to visit for too long, but they have such a sweet family.

The plane ride up was no fun at all. Zach was squirmy, fussy, screaming, crazy and then slept, but the plane ride back was pleasant. He was very entertained and then slept the last 3 hours of the trip!

I can't wait to go back and see everyone more!
